Sheldon Whitehouse has represented Rhode Island in the U.S. Senate since 2007. A former Rhode Island Attorney General and U.S. Attorney, he is best known as a relentless advocate for climate action, having delivered over 250 Senate floor speeches on climate change. He chairs the Senate Budget Committee.
